Costruito sul finire del 1500 sui vigneti appartenenti al cardinal Grimani, il nobile palazzo fu successivamente ampliato e allargato tra il 1677 e il 1688 per incarico conferito all’architetto Carlo Fontana. Fù infine restaurato all’inizio del 1900 dal senatore Tommaso Tittoni.

La sua maestosità si manifesta nelle generose dimensioni, nel vasto utilizzo di marmi e travertini, nella generosa dimensione del cortile interno e nella monumentale scalinata interna, dimensionata alla sua epoca per poter addirittura essere percorsa a cavallo!

Nice room with 3 beds in walking distance of Rome center. 400 m to the Spanish stairs etc. Security, architecture. Small place to sit outside. 2 refrigerators. Coffemaker. Cleaning staff was very good and always very polite.
The room was big, beds are very comfy. It is close to Trevi, but the room was very quite. It was very clean. Nespresso cafe machine, tea etc. The house is very nice, close to metro station.
The room was very spacious for three, clean and remodeled. beds were great. the shower is very clean but transparent. The staff very helpful. Close to trevi and barberini. would definitely visit again. The gate closes at night, so very safe.
Great spacious room for a family with a divided bedroom. Super quiet pretty courtyard and within walking distance of all of Rome’s attractions.
